How it Works

Our patented Airflow Transfer System™ allows the cooler air to flow in two directions even when you are sleeping in the same position throughout the night.  Cooler air will enter through the many small holes that go down through the surface of the memory foam and out through the convoluted channels on the firmer base foam.  It also works in reverse, as air can enter through the sides and up through the surface holes.  This unique system also allows a heat transfer as the warmer air radiates off the body and ventilates down through the holes and out the sides of the mattress.  That is why we always keep a breathable fabric where the channels exit on the sides of the mattress.  In addition, a greater volume of airflow transfer will occur with even the slightest movements that occur throughout the sleeping process.   While some mattress companies offer airflow through the middle layer of the mattress, they fall short of allowing the mattress user to receive any airflow benefit, since it is well known that good quality memory foam does not breathe well due to its heavier weight and compact cell structure (the very reason that memory foam feels so dense when you lay on it).  That is why this patented airflow circulation technology will really keep your body temperature constant throughout the night.

Our Biogreen Memory Foam

The Tempflow™ Gaia™, Eclipse™, Selene™, Harmonia™, Flexia™,  Copia™, Celestia™ and Eros™ mattresses use our special Biogreen® proprietary, pressure sensitive, viscoelastic memory foam material that is free of dangerous chemicals like PBDE, TDI, Boric Acid and Bromine.  Our 3rd generation Biogreen is an environmentally friendly memory foam that is approximately 13 times below Oeko-Tex®*, Certipur-US®* and GreenGuard's* allowable total V.O.C.s required to achieve certification! How the Tempflow™ Supports You Better

Visco-elastic foam is the only substance which can make a total imprint of your body, but then slowly come back to shape after your body weight is lifted.  This slow return rate is what allows a comfortable, yet supportive contouring of all the bumps and curves of the body that eliminates the rebound pressure that hard springs and rubberized foam has when you compress it with your body.   Visco-elastic memory foam can commonly be seen in 3lb, 4lb., 5lb densities.  While 3lb. memory foam or below is often softer, the lower viscosity will make it less durable.  5lb. memory foam is usually more firm until it has warmed up to the body. This is because the extra viscosity will make the memory foam more dense in feel and more subjective to environmental temperatures.  Our 5lb., superior density Biogreen memory foam  utilizes a proprietary manufacturing process that produces a finished product that has been tested at over 10 times the compression strength for durability under extreme conditions of the required standards for foam, as set forth by the ASTM International standards (originally known as the American Society for Testing and Materials).  Our Biogreen top foam layer uses our 5lb. SD™, ultra pressure sensitive, Biogreen memory foam.  Our three-layer Gaia model uses a high density comfort and support layer underneath for the best comfort and support you can get at a price you can afford!  On our Selene and Eros models, we place 5lb. SD™-firm, Biogreen memory foam, for a comfortable and extra supportive transition layer.  The combination of both Biogreen® layers will allow the mattress to be more instantly comfortable in all temperature environments, but still very supportive and durable in structure.  We follow this up with our high resilient, high density, polyurethane airflow channel support layer(s), to give you the total comfort and support that only three and four layer mattresses of this caliber could provide!   We use a breathable and stretch forming, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, fire resistant sock over our foam.  We follow that up with our proprietary, luxurious and soft stretch forming Kool-Flow™ micro-vented cover that has been specially designed to allow for total breathability for use with our patent pending airflow circulation technology.  Our micro-vented fabric is made with sustainable and renewable fibers knitted to the thickest and luxurious weave available and is weighted at 365 grams, compared to the other stretch forming fabrics that are much thinner material, with a weight of 225 grams.  This works in synergy to keep your body temperature regulated all night long.  We only use the highest quality memory foam made in the U.S.A. so you can rest well knowing that your foam has been made under the strictest standards and will live up to the 40-year limited warranty we offer on most models.  We also are so convinced that you will not find a more comfortable and supportive mattress, that we are offering a 4-Month sleep trial to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your Tempflow®.  For more information, call Relief-Mart, Inc. at 800-667-1969
